Plastische, Ästhetische und Rekonstruktive Chirurgie

In Austria, this is the first universitary unit that explicitly deals with the issues of "Safety and Sustainability in Health Care". In close cooperation and networking with the LKH-Univ. Hospital Graz, Quality and Risk Management Unit (Head: Gerald Sendlhofer), relevant topics in the field of health care are dealt together with the Research Unit.

We conduct research in the field of patient safety, sustainable health care and their implementation into medical practice.

The aim is to deal with the development of patient safety-relevant aspects, the implementation of methods, tools or devices as well as their sustainability and thus make a significant contribution to patient safety and sustainable health care.

It is our aim to become the first point of contact in the field of implementation and sustainability research in German-speaking countries and thus to make a significant contribution to research, teaching and the treatment of this complex of topics.
