The International Student Congress (ISC) takes place annually at the Medical University of Graz. The congress provides a platform for students with a background in medicine, pharmacology, natural sciences, nursing science, and students with technical training. A relaxed atmosphere provides students with many opportunities to exchange, connect and acquire a variety of significant hard and soft skills.
Each year, the ISC welcomes over 200 students from Austrian universities and more than 35 other nations. Most participants are students at an advanced level of their respective studies, but also early-career scientists regularly attend the congress.
Over the past years, the ISC has grown into Austria's largest health congress for students. Additionally, it ranks among the highest-rated student congresses in the division of medicine and health in Europe. The congress impresses with its broad and diverse group of attendees and a considerable social media reach spread across common social media platforms.
The ISC is organized by a group of highly motivated students and graduates who want to connect health sciences. Our goal is to broaden horizons by crossing conventional borders of medical sciences.
Part of our mission is to facilitate that participants can establish lasting networks with their international peers. Also, we aim to create an unforgettable experience for all attendees that connects them to our congress in Graz.
