Sabine Vogl studied education with an emphasis on adult education and received her doctorate in 2007. Her dissertation focused on the professionalization of educational processes and the specific support of learning activities. For nearly twenty years she has been a part-time moderator in Austria and abroad.
In 2006 she started working for the Medical University of Graz as a quality manager for quality assurance in studies and teaching. Her responsibilities included accreditation and certification. In 2009 she became head of the Quality Management staff unit, which serves the entire university. For 15 years, she has served as a certified auditor and assessor both internally and externally. She has been Vice Rector of Studies and Teaching at the Medical University of Graz since February 2020.
